Elfina the Elf

09 Dec

Ho Ho Hello!

My name is Elfina and I’m proud to introduce myself as ‘Chief Elf’ here at Fishers Farm for The Magic of Christmas.

Father Christmas has flown me here to help him on his visit at the farm this December. I shall be in charge of making this festive season the most magical and tinsel-tastic celebration ever!

I have a team of elves who joined me in our grotto this weekend, and together, we have been adding so much magic and sparkle around the farm. It is just sooooo exciting! We had such a fantastical time meeting all the lucky girls and boys who stopped by to see us this weekend.

I don’t want to blow my own snowflake, but I CAN tell you that our Winter Wonderland Father Christmas experience is just THE BEST it has ever been!

There are sweet treats, twinkly Christmas trees, Santa’s sleigh and some of the friendliest elves this side of the North Pole – including ME! Of course, if you do see me, that can only mean one thing – you’re coming to see FATHER CHRISTMAS!! He is the most magical man and he’ll be simply thrilled to meet you!

Now, tinkle my bells, have I got more to tell you! Not only have I been busy helping Father Christmas here, in his grotto, I have also been busy exploring all the other festivities around the farm!

First, I stopped by the Lucky Horseshoe Coffee Bar to sample the new scrummy gingerbread latte AND a candy cane hot chocolate – I wrapped an extra 357 presents this morning thanks to those!

Feeling a little bit tired this afternoon, I decided to put up my glitter-spattered feet and have a sneaky peek at the Fishers Farm Pantomime, ‘Cinderella’. It’s BRILLIANT. I laughed my reindeer socks off! There’s dancing, singing, some brightly coloured costumes (Father Christmas will LOVE those!) but I have to say the real star of the show is Pinky, the real life pony pulling the sparkly carriage! I’m considering buying one of those myself, it would look fabulous in Lapland…!

On my way back to the grotto I had a little look inside the Animal Encounters Barn, and saw the cutest little children dressed-up and joining in with donkeys to perform the Interactive Nativity in front of their parents – there were certainly some shiny eyes in the audience, and I must admit I had a little happy sniffle myself! I do love this time of year, don’t you?

Love and sparkles,

Elfina x
