Charity support at Fishers Farm…
Over the past 5 years Fishers Farm have been raising money for Ripple Africa, a charity working to improve the environment and local education in Malawi, Africa. We are so pleased to announce that we were able to raise over £4,000!
Charity support is very close to our hearts here at Fishers and this year our staff voted to have Starlight as our chosen charity.
What is Starlight?
Starlight Foundation is a national children’s charity that is dedicated to brightening the lives of children and teenagers suffering from a serious or terminal illness. They do this through their extensive wish granting programmes and hospital entertainment including:
- Pantomimes
- Captain Starlight entertainers
- Boost boxes filled with toys
- Starlight fun centres
- Starlight wishes and so much more!
Whether it’s becoming your favourite character, meeting princesses or going on a great adventure, Starlight wishes are only limited by a child’s imagination and provide a memorable experience for the whole family. Here at Fishers we know how important spending time together as a family is so we are delighted to be supporting a charity creating such special family moments.
A bit about Starlight…
Starlight have been working for over 30 years to support ill children and their families because they know the difference laughter and happiness can make during the hard times. Every year Starlight help over a million children look beyond their illnesses to brighter days.
