Assistant Catering Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a new team member to assist/cover the catering manager on a day-to-day basis in all areas of our busy restaurant, coffee bar and catering outlets at our award-winning visitor attraction in Wisborough Green.

Full training is given in all aspects of this very varied position, but experience in catering management is favourable. A willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential.

Main roles include:

· To provide a fast but high standard of catering and hospitality for visitors in our award-winning catering outlets.

· To assist the manager with all the 'back office' side of the catering operation, including ordering, stocking and all other administrative catering tasks.

· To help manage and train supervisors and casual staff.

· To ensure excellent practices of food hygiene and health & safety are carried out.

Full-time permanent position, 5 days a week, 8.30 - 5.30, including a weekend day, but no evenings.
