Sharing the countryside love

Here at Fishers Farm, community is at the heart of everything we do. From welcoming our local friends to helping those further afield, find out how you too, can help a good cause and fight the good fight.

Fertility action network

Fishers Directors Tom & Katie Rollings launch new charity, Fertility Action Network.

Following a 7-year heartbreaking and challenging pathway through infertility and IVF, we (Directors Tom and Katie) were unbelievably grateful to welcome our miracle twins into the world in 2017, and shortly after another little bundle of giggles in 2020.

Having first-hand experience of the pain of this journey whilst, at the same time, welcoming thousands of families through the doors of Fishers Farm Park, we wanted more than anything to help make the process smoother and less painful for others who were walking a similar path. And so, Fertility Action Network was born.

Tom says, “infertility affects 1 in 6 people in the UK – a shocking figure and highlights just how many people are battling with this heartbreaking and painful journey in silence, often crippling themselves financially with the cost of fertility treatment and trying to have a baby. We really hope that this new charity can have a positive impact and help more people who are struggling to reach their family dream”.

We feel incredibly fortunate that we are in a position to donate admission tickets to the charity “Something To Look Forward To” each year, who offer free gifts and experiences for families affected by cancer.

Also part of the original founding family of Fishers, Tim and Trina’s daughter Bex has recently founded a charity this year called “The Worst Girl Gang Ever Foundation” helping people through the experience of miscarriage and baby loss.
