Joining in the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ for Macmillan Cancer Support
On Friday 24th September, we held our very own coffee morning as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s ‘Worlds Biggest Coffee Moring‘, to raise vital funds for this amazing cancer charity.
Our Fishers team, are always one for pulling together and we were inundated with homemade and bought cakes from our staff. On the morning of the event, tables were full of cakes!
We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone that took part in our Macmillan Coffee Morning! We raised a fantastic £292.36!! for Macmillan Cancer Support from it. And all from eating cake!!
Our lovely Catering Manager, Georgie and Catering Supervisor, Kenny gave up their day off to man the stall and we are very thankful to them for feeding everyone cake all morning. Georgie is a very keen baker herself, with her own cake baking business, ‘Sweet Pigs cakes‘ and she kindly donated one of her delicious cakes to be sold off. Which we can confirm, was absolutely delicious! (drool)
Thank you to all our lovely customers who bought cakes and donated towards our event. We just love times like this when everyone pulls together, we could not have done it without you all!
