A daily farm show spectacle inside the Animal Encounters Barn in a fun and theatrical setting. Bottle-feed baby lambs and calves, watch live Shire horse demonstrations and learn some child-friendly facts about farming and our farm animals.
We all love to get nose-to-nose with nature, and the Animal Handling sessions offer the perfect opportunity for all ages to handle baby rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, chicks, tortoises and many more of our smaller animals, in a safe and friendly setting, in the Fishers Animal Encounters Barn.
This huge undercover Animal Barn is home to our reptiles, chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs and lots of our larger livestock. Say hello to the horses, stroke a Highland Cow or ooh and ahh over the piglets. There’s even a little farming museum for the history-lovers among you!
We like our animals to experience the outdoors as much as indoors, so the Grazing Paddocks are great way to meet and learn about the animals during your visit to Fishers Farm.
Various fun racing events are available to watch at different times of the year. Place your bets for free and if you get it right, you might even win a prize!
Our popular coffee bar serves home-made cakes and biscuits, along with sandwiches and children's lunch boxes, snacks, ice creams and fruit. Also fresh ground specialist barista coffees, hot chocolate, teas and cold drinks. Open daily 10am - 5pm.
In the winter the log fire is burning giving a nice cosy feel! Autumn means the start of home-made soups and famous Sunday roasts, whilst the warmer months offer our ‘lighter lunches’. Ramblers Retreat serves freshly made HOT DOUGHNUTS, ice creams and hot & cold drinks on weekends and school holidays. You can sit outside on our tables and chairs, enjoying the sunshine amongst the Southdowns (well – the pretend ones anyway!).

Our Splash Attack beach shack is open during the hot Summer months and serves a range of drinks, ice creams, water games and swimwear!
There a number of places to purchase food onsite here at Fishers Farm, but if you choose to bring a picnic instead, there are a number of outdoor picnic areas and benches/shelters. Indoor areas are limited, so if you choose to bring one on a rainy day, please be prepared to eat outside. Ploughman's Barn is closed from Early October until January.
